Twelve men ended up behind bars over the weekend on salacious charges as the result of a state law enforcement sting operation based in Kendall County, but local and state officials remain tight-lipped on the details of the sting.

Information states the men all were arrested on charges of solicitation of prostitution, which is a state jail felony in Texas with a punishment range up to two years in state prison and a $10,000 fine. However, state code calls for increased punishment on succeeding convictions for the same crime.

The majority of the men, seven, were identified as San Antonio residents in their booking information in the Kendall County Jail, including 35-year-old Asadullah Asad, 33-year-old Bicheng Si, 27-year-old Isaac Romero, 39-year-old Joaquin Reyna, 20-year-old Sayedullah Wafa, 37-year-old Sean Unger and 22-year-old Steve Palafos.
