Ellis excited to be Chargers head football coach

Boerne Champion’s Blane Ellis said he has always wanted to be a head football coach and now Ellis will get the chance.

Ellis was announced as the new Champion head football coach at Monday’s Boerne ISD School Board meeting, replacing Keith Kaiser, who is stepping down from the position.

Ellis said he’s ready to go. “I’m really excited,” he said. “This is something I’ve had a vision for for a long time. I came out here with Coach Kaiser 10 years ago, eventually wanting to be a head coach.”
