MARION – Boerne High played a doubleheader with Navarro on Friday and won both games to close out their best-of-three series in one day.
The Hounds topped the Panthers in a couple of close games, 4-3, and 3-0, to advance to the next round. Boerne is 32-4 overall and faces Robstown in a best-of-three series, all in Jourdanton in the fourth round or regional semifinals.
Game 1 is Friday at 7 p.m., Game 2 is Saturday at 5 p.m. and a third game, if needed, will follow 30 minutes after the second game.
