Boerne High running back TJ Dement said he was a little nervous before the start of last Friday’s state semifinals game against Tyler Chapel Hill in the Alamodome.
“I'm nervous before every game but this was a huge game so I had quite a few nerves but after that kickoff everything settled down,” he said.
Well, if Dement was nervous he certainly didn’t play like it. The junior ran for 179 yards on 23 carries and three TDs as the Greyhound went on to rout the Bulldogs, 35-0.
