The Boerne Independent School District has announced that Sean Babcock has been named Chief Technology Officer. Babcock’s appointment was approved by the Board of Trustees at a special meeting on April 3rd.

Lady Chargers pounce on Panthers
SAN ANTONIO – The Champion girls soccer team earned its second straight shutout in the 5A playoffs on Tuesday when the Lady Chargers defeated Medina Valley at Gustafson Stadium. Prior to that, Champion blanked Leander Rouse 2-0 in the first round and then caged the Panthers from Medina Valley 4-0 for a combined score of 6-0 in its first two rounds.

SAN ANTONIO – Even though Tuesday’s second- round soccer playoff match looked like a blowout after the Boerne High boys defeated La Vernia, 7-1, BHS coach Michael Strong said it certainly didn’t feel like it.
