Earl Floyd, 80, of Boerne, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home in the Texas Hill Country on Sept. 12, 2025. Earl was born in San Antonio, Texas on Oct. 18, 1944, to Patrick and Mary Floyd.

A devoted husband, loving father, and passionate animal lover, Earl was also a Marine veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He dedicated over 50 years to the Hill Country community as a trusted car salesman, earning the respect and affection of both colleagues and customers.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Mary Floyd, and his son, Sean Floyd.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Bronagh Floyd; his children Stephanie (Scott) Harper, Nessa Hooper, Katie Hooper, Meghan (Robert) Fenton, Patrick (Libby) Hooper; and his twin brother, Carrol (Cathy) Floyd.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pendurti at START Center and the compassionate caregivers at Heart to Heart Hospice.

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and remember this incredible man.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society in Earl’s loving memory.
