Boerne High opened its spring tennis season last weekend and played at the Mason Puncher Shootout.

The Greyhounds had three entries that medaled after Garrett Stevens and Garner Graves took first in boys doubles by beating teammates Ben Rowe and Justin Barraza, who finished second, while Nick Dube placed 3rd in boys singles.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to play at the Northside Spring Invitational this Friday and Saturday.

Boerne Champion hosted a fundraiser tourney last weekend and will back in action this weekend and will also play at the Northside ISD tourney.

Nick Dube placed 3rd in boys singles at the Mason tournament.
