Boerne Champion hosted Smithson Valley in boys basketball Tuesday at Charger Gym for Senior Night.
Both teams ended their seasons on Tuesday and it was the Rangers that closed 2024-25 on a winning note after they defeated Champion by four points, 60-56.
The Chargers went 22-13 overall and were 5-11 in district to tie them with the Boerne boys for sixth place. The two BISD teams split their two games this year.
