BOERNE — Imagine dozens of garage sales, all lined up together so you don’t have to drive from address to address. There’s no need to imagine it, because it’s happening Saturday, during the 12th annual Community Garage Sale hosted by the Kendall County Fair Association.

The annual sale runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kendall County Fairgrounds.

Three exhibit halls are booked, and vendors are staged outside as well, according to Marilyn Culak, KCFA treasurer and garage sale coordinator.

Culak said attendees will find the bargains and selection they’ve come to expect from the annual event.

“The sheer number and variety of items available at this sale defy easy description,” Culak said. “But whatever you consider the right stuff, you have a chance of finding it either at one of the vendor spaces inside or outside tailgate spaces.”

Booth space has been rented to all comers; individuals, families, clubs, crafters and home-based businesses. Attendees can expect to find flea market, garage sale items, antiques, crafts, collectibles, and artwork among the items for sale. year is a Shred-It truck, on site from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. to shred personal old paper documents for a donation fee, with an eightbox limit.

A Goodwill truck will be on site to collect unwanted items for left over donations. Visit www. armsofhope.org for donation guidelines information. On sight tax deduction forms will be available.

Admission and parking are free for shoppers; food and drink will be availbale on premises.

The Kendall County Fair Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; any and all funds from the garage sale benefit the association’s scholarship funds for local youth.
