McNew also hit a single in the second to record 4 hits in the game and score 4 runs.

The Greyhounds tallied 4 runs in the first frame, 6 in the second, 3 in the third and 6 in the fourth for the 19-0 lead, while Alamo Heights scored all 5 of its runs in the top of the fifth.

The Mules put their first eight batters on in the inning before Boerne could record an out and AH started off the inning with a solo homer. Four of their five hits in the game came in the top of the fifth.

After Alamo Heights put its first eight batters on, BHS recorded three straight outs to end it with two strikeouts and a pop up to McNew at first base.
