KERRVILLE – The Boerne ISD tennis teams competed against each other and the rest of the district at last week’s 26-5A tournament held in Kerrville at the HEB courts.

Only the top two in each event – boys singles, girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed doubles – advance to regionals.

The third-place finishers earn bronze medals and will serve as alternates at this year’s Region IV-5A tourney set for May 7-8 in Corpus Christi.

The Chargers and the Greyhounds will both be sending three athletes to compete in two events at regionals for a total of six representing Boerne ISD.

Champion’s Greta Clauss and Ethan Wolf won the 26-5A mixed doubles titles at district.
Champion’s Alexandra Morris and Kayden Cantu were third in girls doubles at district.
