Geneva’s Simpson and Svendsen earn bronze at TAPPS state tennis tourney

Members of the Geneva School of Boerne tennis teams competed at the recent TAPPS 4A state tournament where an Eagles doubles team finished third.

Geneva juniors Mary Simpson and Siena Svendsen captured third in girls doubles to earn bronze medals.

The boys doubles teams of freshman Grant Dillinger and junior Alex Malouf, along with freshman Ray Reynolds and junior Teagan Fikes made it to state quarterfinals.

Overall, the Geneva boys team finished 5th and the girls team placed 6th in the final team standings.
