July 10, 1957 April 2, 2025
Mark Stephen Guerrero, 67, died April 2, 2025, surrounded by his family in prayer.
Mark was born on July 10, 1957, to Pauline Rendon and Justo Guerrero and was the eldest of six children. He is preceded in death by his father, Justo Guerrero.
He is survived by one daughter, Amy Brown, and one son, Ryan Guerrero; his mother, Pauline Duffy; one sister, Elizabeth (Larry) Linke; and four brothers, Richard Guerrero, Henry Guerrero, Paul (Valorie) Guerrero and Daniel Guerrero.
In his early years, Mark resided in Boerne, Texas. He graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio in 1975 and immediately joined the U.S. Navy.
Upon returning from the Navy, Mark resided in San Antonio until 1986 when he moved to Dayton, Ohio. There, Mark married the mother of his children, Jennifer Kidd, who also preceded him in death.
As a young man, Mark was an excellent athlete and developed into a skilled baseball player. He later grew to love all sports and was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
We will always remember his sensitive heart, his quick wit and the ease with which he would bring light-hearted humor into almost any situation. This was something he demonstrated quite frequently, even as a child.
He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all, including beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mark, may you rest in peace forever in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our love remains with you forever.
