Geneva golfers compete at TAPPs state tourney

The Geneva School of Boerne boys and girls golf teams played at the TAPPS 4A state tournament last week in Glenrose and both squads finished their seasons as top 4 teams in the state.

Competing for the boys team was Aidan Bowser, Win Crawford, Jack Hardin, Jace Hulett and Eli Sorrells and the group finished 3rd with a two-day score of 618.

Hardin placed 4th individually and Hulett placed 10th individually to both make the all-tournament team. Hulett, a senior, finished in the top 10 all four years of his high school career.

The Lady Eagles, made up of Anna Gaeke, Addison Griffey, Londyn Winchell, Anistyn Dennis and Peylin Dennis, combined for 4th place with a two-day total of 812.

Anistyn Dennis, a freshman, placed 4th individually and was named all-tournament.

Geneva girl golfers include Anna Gaeke, Addison Griffey, Londyn Winchell, Anistyn Dennis and Peylin Dennis, who just competed at the TAPPS state tournament where the team placed fourth.
