Boerne High recently held its annual end-of-season girls basketball ceremony in the spectator gym where several team awards were handed out. (L-r): Savannah Salinas received the Fighting Heart Award, Meredith Mcleod was named the Offensive Player of the Year, Chloe Donnell was Team MVP and Jenna Ruede was voted the Defensive Player of the Year. Also, the four seniors, Salinas, Mcleod, Donnell and Ruede shared the team’s Clutch Award. Statistically, Donnell led the team in points, steals, free throws and 3-pointers, Mcleod led the team in rebounds, Ruede led in assists and Oleyvia Ramos (not pictured) had the team’s highest field goal percentage.
