Steward, Van Geffen named Comfort Athletes of the Year

At the end of each school year, Comfort High selects its Bobcat and Deer Athletes of the Year.

For the 2024-25 school year, Jaydin Steward was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Year and Hope Van Geffen was selected as the Deer Athlete of the Year.

Steward was a multisport athlete who excelled in basketball and track. He leaves as the alltime record holder for rebounds and was a perennial regional qualifier in track.

Van Geffen was also a multi-sport athlete who was a four-year All-District performer in volleyball and softball. She was also a regional qualifier in track this year.

Steward is the son of Ronald and Frances Steward and Van Geffen is the daughter of Russ Van Geffen and Beverly Collie.
