CELEBRATING THE ARTS
PAULA HORNER
HCCA PRESIDENT
Lleanna Brinsmade, is a Boerne-based self-trained pastel portrait artist with a special passion for capturing musicians she has experienced live in intimate settings.
Her latest work, “Anthony Garcia: Portrait of an Extraordinary Texas Musician” is on display at Jefferson Bank in Bernie for the entire month of June, courtesy of Boerne Art League and available to purchase.
The piece was inspired by a memorable local private home concert and described as “an afternoon you won’t forget,” featuring Garcia, a gifted songwriter and virtual on guitar and keyboard.
Brinsmade focuses primarily on fine art portrait commissions, both people and pets. A graduate Trinity University and a certified project management professional, she discovered her love for painting after retiring from a successful career in telecom project management.
A selection of her artwork can be viewed up close and personal at Jefferson Bank, Texas Heritage Bank, Security Bank, Bank of America and the Center at Kronkosky until the end of June.
