AID THE SILENT 11th annual 5K at Main Plaza. Every stride fuels support for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Walkers, runners and strollers are welcome. ART SHOW by Transformation House, 33 Herff Road, from 6-8 p.m. Join Transformation House at The Gathering Hall for a special evening of art, light catered bites and a cocktail reception with wine. Bidding opened May 29 and continues through June 12.

JUNE 13

DAS FESTIVAL OF KENDALL runs June 13-15 at Main Plaza. The parade will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. down the Hill Country Mile. STORYTIME WITH MS. Constance at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road. The “Bugs”-themed storytime begins at 10:30 a.m.

MOONDANCE OUTDOOR CONCERT at Cibolo Nature Center from 6:45-9 p.m. Enjoy live music from Austin’s Andy Davis, local vendors and good times — a tradition that started with friends coming together to tell stories, sing songs and dance. Tickets are $15/person.

BIRDTECH WORKSHOP at Herff Farm from 9 a.m. to noon. Introductory class is hands-on, tech-savvy birding. Learn to use apps and other cutting-edge tools to find, identify and track birds. Tickets are $10. Register at cibolo.org.
