• MUSIC IN THE CAVE with Scoot Tixier and Joseph Kuipers at 7:30 p.m. underground in the Queen’s Throne Room at Cave Without a Name, 325 Kreutzberg Road. The duo will present Tixier’s original compositions. Advanced tickets are $40, $45 at the door. Access is down 126 steps with eight landings; there is no wheelchair access. • KUHLMAN-KING MUSEUM Tours between noon and 3 p.m. at the Kuhlmann-King Historical Complex, 402 E. Blanco Road. Step back in time to experience and explore how a Boerne family would have lived in the late 1800s. Docents on hand to answer questions.

• GERMAN VILLAGE BAND performs from 7:30-9 p.m. at Main Plaza, 101 N. Main St. Founded in 1860 by German immigrant Karl Dienger, it is the oldest continuously active German band outside of the Republic of Germany.

• JESSE STRATTON BAND returns to the Patrick Heath Public Library for “Live! At The Library” beginning at 7 p.m. Listen to music from their latest album, “The Sounds and the Colors”for their unique blend of alternative country and Americana.
