Boerne Champion swimmers earn All-American honors
Charger swimmers’ front row (l-r): Cameron Kellogg and Kate Canales, along with back row (l-r): Karly Whitehead and Cora Skoog were named NISCA All-Americans for the 2024-25 school year after two of their relay teams finished in the top 100 nationally. Canales was also named an All-American in two different individual events as well.

The Boerne Champion swim program had four relays and four individuals earn National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All-America honors.

To be an NISCA All-American, a high school relay or individual swimmer’s time must be in the top 100 nationally based in the last school year.

Eight Chargers made up the four relays – two boys and two girls relays – while three members on those relays – one girl and two boys - earned individual All-American honors.

The following were named NISCA All-Americans for the Chargers:

Girls 200-medley relay

Karly Whitehead, Kate Canales, Cameron Kellogg

and Cora Skoog.

Girls 400-free relay

Cora Skoog, Karly Whitehead, Cameron Kellogg and Kate Canales.

Boys 200 free relay

Bexon Harrison, Will Harrison, Will Tolar and Ethan Altermatt.

Boys 400 free relay

Will Harrison, Will Tolar, Owen Altermatt and Bexon Harrison

Individual

Kate Canales, 100 butterfly.

Kate Canales, 100 breaststroke.

Bexon Harrison, 50 freestyle.

Bexon Harrison, 100 free Bexon Harrison, 200 free.
