Boerne Champion held its annual track and field awards ceremony in the school auditorium where several team awards were handed out. Awards were given for distance, hurdling, sprinting, field events, along with the Golden Baton, We Are Champion and Team MVP awards.

Luis Tovar and Payton Kidder earned the Outstanding Distance Award.

Juliana Syroney and Jamarri Bowie were named the team’s Outstanding Sprinter Award. Bowie earned a bronze medal at the 5A state meet this past spring.
