In loving memory of Michael “Mike” Roy Goodwin II, 1971-2025: It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, father, son and friend, Mike Goodwin, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 53.
Michael was born in Bethesda, Maryland to Michael and Linda Goodwin. As part of a proud military family, Mike spent his early years traveling which shaped his adventurous and curious spirit.
Mike was the owner and operator of Mike’s Vape Shop in Boerne. He welcomed every customer with a smile, built lasting relationships within the community and was a valued long time member of the Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed time at the shooting range and camping.
Mike is known for his big heart, generous spirit and strength when faced with his ongoing health problems.
Above all, he was a father to his two children Josephine and Saoirse. His love for them was boundless and unwavering, and he cherished every moment they spent together.
Michael is survived by his children, Josephine and Saoirse; his father Michael Goodwin; his brother Philip; and his sister Michele.
The family would like to thank Peterson Hospice for the kindness and compassion during his final days.
A celebration of life for Michael will be held at a later date.
