Members of the Hill Country Comets have been involved in several track and field meets, and several of the athletes have qualified for either the AAU Junior Olympics or the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation state meet. In some cases, athletes have qualified for both the Junior Olympics and the TAAF state meets.
There are 36 Comets who qualified for the Junior Olympics that will be held July 26-Aug. 2, in Humble, while 49 Comets advanced to the TAAF meet set for July 31 – Aug. 3 in College Station. For a complete list, see the Boerne Star.
