The Tapatio Ladies Club is having a membership drive and new season celebration on Aug. 13 at the Lounge at Valeria in Boerne from 4-6 p.m. The Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and gives academic and trade scholarships to the three Kendall County High Schools and monetary and tangible donations to organizations such as Kendall County Family Services, Kendall County Women’s Shelter, Daily Bread, Sam’s Kids, and tragic events like the Hill Country flood relief. Membership is not limited to Tapatio residents; all women are welcome to come. Appetizers and hor d’oeuvres as well as salads and pizza will be provided by TLC.
