The regular season begins this coming week for area high school volleyball teams.
Boerne Champion, Boerne High, Comfort High and Geneva School of Boerne will all be on the road to start the new year either Monday or Tuesday.
District 26-5A play kicks off the following week, Aug. 19, for Boerne Champion and Boerne High.
Comfort High
Comfort High is the first to begin the new year.
The Deer open their 2025 season Monday at Marble Falls at noon against the Mustangs.
After that, Comfort is scheduled to play in the Hondo Tournament Thursday – Saturday.
Comfort hosted a scrimmage Friday and was at Wimberley for another scrimmage on Saturday to prep for the new season.
Geneva School of Boerne
The Eagles open on the road vs. Providence Tuesday with a 6:30 p.m. match.
After that, Geneva is scheduled to play in the Wimberley Tournament Thursday – Saturday.
The Eagles were at the Marion scrimmage Friday and then hosted a scrimmage Saturday.
Boerne High
The Lady Greyhounds visit Stevens on Tuesday with the first serve set for 6:30 p.m.
After that, BHS is entered in the Northside/Northeast ISD Tournament Thursday - Saturday.
Prior to that, Boerne scrimmaged at Judson on Friday and hosted a scrimmage on Saturday.
Boerne Champion
The Lady Chargers are on the road Tuesday for a match at Southwest, 6:30 p.m.
Champion stays on the road after that and plays in the Abilene Tournament next weekend.
The Chargers were at the Davenport scrimmage Friday and co-hosted a scrimmage Saturday.
