Boerne Champion opened its 2025 cross country season last Saturday morning at the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Invitational meet with the Lady Chargers the first to race at 7 a.m.
The meet was held on the grounds of Steele High School and Lady Chargers finished third with 76 points and the Champion boys came in 4th with 116 points.

The Chargers and Greyhounds are both scheduled to run in the Austin Westlake meet this weekend, while Comfort was in Kerrville last weekend and will run at the Vista Ridge meet at Cedar Park this week.
Geneva isn’t scheduled to run its first meet until Aug. 23 at St. Mary’s Hall.
