The Boerne Champion football team held an intrasquad scrimmage last Friday at Charger Field. The Champion varsity went less than an hour as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Champion hosts Churchill Thursday for their first scrimmage against another team. After that, they are in Laredo to open the 2025 season on Aug. 29.
Boerne High was at New Braunfels for a scrimmage last Friday and hosts Liberty Hill Thursday.
The Greyhounds open the season at home against Pieper on Aug. 29.
