Crestmont Christian Preparatory School’s own Peyton Blyth is kicking off his sophomore cross country season as the defending Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organization state champ.

After a standout freshman year where Blyth eclipsed the competition at state in 2024, finishing the course 13 seconds ahead of the second-place runner and 50 seconds ahead of his previous personal record, Blyth is back on the course with drive, discipline and determination that made him one of Texas’ top young runners.

Boerne’s Crestmont Christian is proud to cheer him on as he pursues back-to-back championships and continues to inspire fellow Warriors with his talent and character.

The Warriors will field a larger team this year under the direction of Coach James Hepler. Their first competition will be Aug. 30 at the San Antonio Patriots Meet.
