The Geneva School of Boerne varsity tennis team tangled with the Boerne Champion JV squad on the Charger courts and Champion picked up the 12-7 win over the Eagles.
Geneva’s next match is Sept. 4 vs. Marble Falls Faith Academy at the Boerne City Courts.
In girls doubles, Mary Simpson and Siena Svendsen picked up a win, Teagan Fikes and Ray Reynolds won in boys doubles, while Simpson and Reynolds won in mixed doubles.
Jared Bass and Alex Malouf claimed victories in boys singles, while Allison Gerch and Audrey Lapacka picked up wins in girls singles.
