Because of an electric problem at Greyhound Gym earlier this week, the Boerne High volleyball team had to switch from hosting Kerrville Tivy to playing at Antler Gym on Tuesday.

The Lady Antlers took advantage of the homecourt advantage and defeated the Lady Greyhounds in four sets, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-11.

Boerne is 16-6 overall and slips to 1-2 in district. The Lady Hounds were at Veterans Memorial Friday and then host Smithson Valley Tuesday.

BHS will host their second- round district match with Tivy on Oct. 3.

In Tuesday’s match, Bella Pettet and Ava Seamans both tallied 12 kills, while Paige Stegall was also in double-digit kills with 10.

Cameron Keller dropped in 2 aces, Seamans and Stegall recorded 3 blocks each, Kynsie Jones tallied a team-high 13 digs, Haley Wheeler added 11 digs and Pettet came up with 10 digs, while Keller recorded 33 assists.
