Lady Hounds fall in five sets to Veterans Memorial

Boerne High slipped to 1-3 in 26-5A volleyball after a road loss at Veterans Memorial last Friday.

The Lady Greyhounds took the Lady Patriots to five games and even won the first game, but Veterans Memorial prevailed, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-25, 15-10.

It was a tough week for Boerne after they dropped both district games. Things don’t get any easier for the Lady Greyhounds, which hosted Smithson Valley Tuesday and then play Boerne Champion this Friday, 5 p.m. The game is moved up because it is Boerne’s homecoming game. BHS is 16-7 overall and 1-3 in district.
