Geneva tennis team wins last four matches

The Geneva School of Boerne tennis team has been busy and has been winning a lot as well.

The Eagles have played four matches this month and won all four to stand at 4-2 this fall.

Geneva will be back on the courts, Sept. 15 vs. Brandeis JV at the Boerne City Courts where all the Eagles’ home matches take place.

Vs. Ambleside

Geneva defeated Ambleside 6-2.

Teagan Fikes and Ray Reynolds teamed up in boys doubles and won, while Jared Bass and Grant Hakspiel also won in boys doubles.

Grant Dillinger and Teagan Fikes both won in boys singles.

Mary Simpson and Siena Svendsen won in girls doubles, while Audrey Kate Garcia and Rebekah Burkhart also won in girls doubles.

Vs. Central Catholic

The Geneva boys defeated Central Catholic, 4-1.

Teagan Fikes and Alex Malouf won in boys doubles, while Walker West, Jared Bass and Grant Hakspiel all picked up victories in boys singles.

Vs. Faith Academy of Marble Falls

The Eagles won their match over the Marble Falls school, 13-3.

Mary Simpson and Sienna Svendsen won in girls doubles, while Rebekah Burkhart and Audrey Kate Garcia also won in girls doubles.

Grant Dillinger and Ray Reynolds won in boys doubles, while Jared Bass and Walker West also earned a boys doubles victory.

Grant Dillinger, Walker West, Jared Bass and Grant Hakspiel all picked up victories in boys singles.

Mary Simpson, Siena Svendsen, Audrey Kate Garcia, Rebekah Burkhart and Madison DeLaune all won in girls singles.

Vs. Cornerstone

Geneva edged Cornerstone, 7-6.

Rebekah Burkhart and Madison DeLaune earned a win in girls doubles.

Grant Dillinger and Ray Reynolds won in boys doubles, while Alex Malouf and Grant Hakspiel were also victorious in boys doubles.

Grant Dillinger, Walker West and Jared Bass all won in boys singles, while Rebekah Burkhart picked up the lone Eagles win in girls singles.
