Geneva School of Boerne opened district volleyball team action Tuesday when the Lady Eagles hosted district front-runner Schertz John Paul II.

The Lady Guardians are good and went on to sweep Geneva, 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Geneva is 22-8 overall and started district at 0-1. The Eagles were at Holy Cross Thursday as they continued league play.

Prior to kicking off district action, Geneva was entered in the Castle Hills Tournament.

Geneva went 5-0 at the tourney and defeated SA Saints, San Antonio Lutheran, Castle Hills Baptist, Great Hearts Western Hills and San Juan Diego Catholic.
