Comfort High visited Stockdale Tuesday for a non-district volleyball match.
The Lady Brahmas played well and managed to sweep the Deer, 25-15, 25-14, 25-13.
Comfort is 18-10 overall and played Fredericksburg Friday and hosts Harper Tuesday before opening district play at Florence on Sept 20.
In Tuesday’s match, Tindall Ahrens paced the Deer with 7 kills, 9 digs and a block, Faith Diaz de Villegas added a block, Savana Womble tallied 8 digs and 7 assists and Anna Munoz added 4 assists.
Comfort vs. Leakey
Comfort’s match at Leakey scheduled for Friday Sept. 5 was called off after a lot of the girls on the Leakey squad had the COVID virus. The match will not be made up.
