Charger tennis earns two district road wins

The Charger tennis team had a busy couple of days and played two district matches in a five-day span and won both of them.

On Friday, Sept. 12, the Chargers defeated Pieper High School on the road, 10-2.

This past Tuesday, Champion made another road trip and handled the Unicorns of New Braunfels, 11-2.

Champion picked up a non-district match Saturday morning against San Angelo Central in Mason at 9 a.m. The Chargers resume district action Tuesday with another road trip, this time to Wagner.

Champion is 7-5 overall and 4-2 in district.
