The Boerne ISD tennis teams concluded district play on Tuesday and will now prepare for the playoffs which start this coming week.
Before they do begin postseason action, both the Chargers and the Greyhounds played non-district opponents last Friday.
The Greyhounds open the playoffs with a match at home against Leander Glenn, Tuesday, Oct 7, at the Boerne courts, 2 p.m.
Champion tangles with Cedar Park at Wimberley on Monday at 10 a.m., to begin the playoffs.
Alamo Heights won district at 8-0, Boerne finished second at 7-1, Champion placed third at 6-2, followed by New Braunfels 5-3, to all make the playoffs.

The Greyhounds closed out district play with a 10-5 victory at New Braunfels on Tuesday.
BHS is 12-2 overall and played Fredericksburg Friday to tune up for the playoffs.

The Chargers wrapped up the regular season with an 18-1 victory over visiting Kerrville Tivy Tuesday at home.
Champion played Wimberley on Friday in a tune up match and will return there on Monday for its playoff contest with Cedar Park.
The Chargers are 10-6 overall and beat Antonian last week in a non-district match, 19-0.
