Commissioner Wisian seeking re-election

BOERNE — Kendall County Commissioner Andra Wisian is seeking re-election to continue serving residents of Kendall County Precinct 2, with Duane Zoeller again serving as her campaign treasurer.

“When I first ran, I gave my word to protect the irreplaceable character and culture of Kendall County for future generations and to be fiscally conservative with taxpayer dollars,” Wisian said.

Keeping her word, Wisian has voted to lower the county property tax rate for three consecutive years, championed responsible growth, strengthened county oversight in the ETJ, and opted for modest costof- living increases while personally rejecting a doubledigit pay raise. She has supported additional staffing for volunteer fire departments, advocated for safer roads and pushed for an updated fire code to address battery energy storage systems.

With a bachelor’s degree in English, Wisian has prioritized transparency, publishing 86 newsletters to keep residents informed and engaged. Regionally, Wisian serves on water planning, transportation, and public defender committees.

Residents of Kendall County for 32 years, Andra and husband, Kirby Wisian, are members of St. John Lutheran Church and support community organizations. A dedicated Republican, she has served in leadership with Kendall County Republican Women and twice as a delegate to the Republican Party of Texas State Convention.
