BOERNE — Suzy Presley, a longtime Kendall County resident and respected small business owner, has officially announced her candidacy for the position of Kendall County treasurer.
With a career spanning agriculture, construction, customer service and emergency response, Presley brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep commitment to community values.
“I’m not afraid of hard work or learning something new,” Presley said. “If there’s a problem, I’ll face it head-on until it’s solved. As treasurer, I will handle every responsibility with honesty, accountability, and a strong commitment to our community’s values.” Presley, a Republican, has operated a family-owned landscaping and irrigation business in Boerne since 2019, where she has overseen budgeting, purchasing and customer service for residential and commercial clients. Her background also includes roles in motorhome bodywork, semiconductor manufacturing, event coordination and wildland firefighting.
She served as a volunteer firefighter in Washington and remains an active parent volunteer in Kendall County.
Her core strengths include financial responsibility, operations management, emergency response and quality control — skills she believes are essential for the treasurer’s office.
“I’ve worked in the fields, fought fires, run a business, and raised a family,” Presley said. “I understand what it means to serve, and I’m ready to bring that same dedication to Kendall County.”
