Boys basketball season tips off this week for UIL schools

The 2025-26 boys basketball season will tip off this week for UIL schools, including Boerne ISD and Comfort teams.

Geneva School of Boerne began boys action last week, while Comfort is scheduled to start Saturday.

Champion visited Southwest Legacy on Friday, 6:30 p.m. and then plays Warren next Monday at the Northside Sports Gym, 7 p.m. After that, they’ll play in the Harlandale tournament.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to visit Highlands on Saturday for an 11:30 a.m. contest and host Southwest Legacy on Monday, 6:30 p.m., before playing in the Cornerstone Tournament that weekend.

Comfort has Cole on the schedule for Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cole, where Shaq played his high school basketball.
