Abide by Boerne ISD's two-hour delays on Tuesday

From the Boerne Independent School District administration:

Safety is our top priority. Whether you live within Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch city limits or out in the Hill Country, it’s vital to us that all of our staff and students are able to have a safe commute tomorrow. To accommodate this, we are delaying the start of school by 2 hours on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Elementary Schools 

9:00 a.m., doors open.

9:35 a.m., instruction begins.

3:00 p.m., dismissal at regular time.

Middle and High Schools  

(Tuesday is an “A” day)

10:00 a.m., doors open.

10:30 a.m., instruction begins.

-- NO ADVISORY PERIOD --

4:00 p.m., dismissal at regular time.

* BHS staff arrival time is 9:30 a.m.

Bus Riders 

Bus routes will begin exactly two hours later than the usual time in the morning. Thank you for making the adjustments. Please dress warmly.

Instructional Calendar

Each year, our instructional calendar includes extra minutes to cover weather events. This is our first use of “banked” minutes. As such, we do not need to make up the hours lost due to this round of winter weather.
