The 3-2-1 countdown ended. H-E-B bags went flying, revealing the boxes underneath which were quickly turned upside-down, their contents spilling all over the tables. And just like that, the Heath Library Speed Puzzle competition got underway Thursday. Ten teams sorted, matched up and linked puzzle pieces, trying to be the first to complete the 300-piece puzzle. After 28 minutes, the team of Leslie Kirk (seated, right), her daughters Penny, 15, and Ellie, 12 (far left), and her mother, Rita Graham, shouted and threw their arms into the air, signifying their win.
