The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT FEBRUARY 4
9:29 a.m., Greyhound Lane – A caller reported he could smell gas in the area. Boerne F.D. came to the location and determined the smell was coming from inside the building.
1:28 p.m., mile marker 539, W. I-10 – A caller reported a firearm laying on the ground near the park.
6:50 p.m., 500 block of Fabra Lane – A caller reported a vehicle was following her the previous evening. The caller said the vehicle left and returned to her location.
6:50 p.m., 100 block of Gage Drive – A caller reported she sold a TV to a male in San Antonio. The male sent the caller a photo of her home, asking if that was her residence. The caller requested an officer come by to ensure everything was OK.
FEBRUARY 5
2:25 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a vehicle with an unconscious male. The male was transported to provide medical attention.
8:37 a.m., 600 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported two residents got into a physical altercation in the middle of the night.
2:32 p.m., 100 block of Lohmann – A caller reported an unauthorized Verizon account opened.
6:10 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male smoking weed in a vehicle.
FEBRUARY 6
6:36 a.m., 600 block of Adler Road – A caller reported smelling gas in the area. Boerne F.D. came to the location and discovered an electrical smell.
7:19 a.m., 100 block of Beaver Bend – A caller reported a driver rudely gestured at her daughter while she was walking home from school.
2:45 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported two teenage girls were setting up a firepit at the Boerne Lake.
8:03 p.m., Cascade Caverns Road – A caller reported a male in the area who was acting oddly. The caller said he initially asked the caller for a smoke and then started going up to doors, asking for money.
FEBRUARY 7
10:47 a.m., 10 block of Cascade Caverns Road – A caller reported a male stumbling on the side of the road, headed in the direction of the gas station. Law enforcement came to the location, made contact with the male and found he was OK.
3:38 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint – A caller reported a male throwing items and hitting the caller’s vehicle.
5:15 p.m., 3500 block of W. I-10 – An employee reported a suspicious vehicle idling. The caller said the vehicle had shaded windows and when the caller knocked, there was no response. The caller added the vehicle had been at the location for over two hours.
9:54 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller said after he visited a store that morning, multiple other charges were made on his account. The caller suspected a credit card skimmer on a machine.
FEBRUARY 8
12:21 a.m., 100 block of Sandy Shoal – A caller reported someone “ding-dong-ditching” in the area.
9:32 a.m., 300 block of S. Esser Road – A caller reported he trapped a duck in the play area and the caller was worried about it getting run over by a vehicle.
11:02 a.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported she was being harassed over the phone.
4:23 p.m., 300 block of Kilmarnock – A caller reported a strong smell of gas in their garage.
FEBRUARY 9
12:56 a.m., 100 block of Medical Drive – A caller reported she heard a gunshot and saw an individual outside wearing all black.
7:11 a.m., 100 block of Stablewood – A caller reported a male sitting in his vehicle at the location for the past 15 minutes.
4:35 p.m., Main Street/Hosack Street – A caller reported a two-vehicle collision. One of the vehicles was in the median of the road and one of the vehicles hit a road sign. The caller said both occupants appeared to be limping.
7:23 p.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported an older vehicle that had been driving in the area.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FEBRUARY
8:29 a.m., Shady Oak Lane – A caller reported about 50 tires were dumped on the road in front of the location.
1:01 p.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A subject was detained following a positive K-9 alert.
2:24 p.m., 200 block of Sixth Street – A caller reported he was calling on behalf of his grandmother whose car was stolen.
6:43 p.m., Dodge Road – A caller reported they were notified his credit card was fraudulently charged for $6,000.
FEBRUARY 5
12:35 p.m., 200 block of Sky View Drive – A caller reported she received threatening texts and emails from her ex-husband.
5:20 p.m., 700 block of FM 289 – A caller reported a hit-and-run vehicle collision. The caller reported another vehicle swerved and hit the vehicle’s mirror, resulting in glass going everywhere.
5:40 a.m., 100 block of Windmill Breeze – A caller was concerned about three minors playing outside after smelling marijuana.
FEBRUARY 6
11:06 a.m., 100 block of Ridges End Drive – A caller reported a male came up to her residence. The male said he was with a pavement company but he did not have any credentials available.
3:30 p.m., 1600 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a moving vehicle was turning around and got stuck.
5:13 p.m., 300 block of FM 474 – A male was detained following a traffic stop. A tow truck was called to the location.
5:57 p.m., 10 block of S FM 3351 – A caller reported a gate was open at the location and goats and horses were getting out.
FEBRUARY 7
12:59 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported a possibly intoxicated male inside a garage, with his dog. The caller said the dog was yelping. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.
8:15 a.m., 100 block of S. FM 3351 – Twenty goats were on the side of the road, looking for Valentine’s gifts.
8:33 a.m., 400 block Upper Cibolo Creek Road – A caller reported his wife’s engagement ring was stolen.
8:42 a.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a male hitting a dog.
1:32 p.m., Coughran Road – A caller said he received a scam call saying he missed his jury date.
FEBRUARY 8
6:42 a.m., 300 block of Fuller Drive – A caller reported a male on the property who was talking about how he was with the drug cartel. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.
6:34 p.m., mile marker of 533, E. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle with its hood up and smoke coming out of it. Boerne F.D. was called to the location. It was found the vehicle had a radiator leak but there was no smoke.
7:28 p.m., mile marker 533, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle speeding and unable to maintain lanes.
FEBRUARY 9
1:06 a.m., 200 block of Chisolm Trail – A caller reported her friend texted her that he was “in the middle of a home invasion.” The caller provided dispatch with the address of the friend available on the Snapchat map. Law enforcement went to the location and the friend was arrested.
7:57 a.m., 100 block of Ronco – A caller reported she had a stray cat she wanted picked up.
8:40 a.m., 100 block of Shooting Club Road – A caller reported he arrived at his storage unit and all his stuff was gone.
10:12 a.m., 100 block of Dresden Wood Drive – A caller reported a neighbor damaged his vehicle the previous day. The caller said there were previous disputes and he wanted this documentation.
