The Geneva School of Boerne baseball team improved to 4-0 after they picked up a 20-7 win over Lutheran High School Tuesday in San Antonio.
Geneva is entered in the Center Point tournament this weekend and hosts the SA Wolverines on Tuesday.
In Tuesday’s contest, the Eagles scored 14 of their 20 runs in the fourth frame and finished with 13 hits in the game.
Robert Jons homered and singled, picked up 3 RBI, took 2 walks and scored twice, Gray Bruner doubled, hit 2 singles, collected 4 RBI and scored twice, Josh Patteson tripled and singled, scored twice and drove in a run, while Chase Doran hit 3 singles pushed in 2 runs and scored 3 runs.
Levi McPherson walked 4 times and scored 3 runs, Brady Chandler hit 2 singles, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 times, and Eli Arnold singled, picked up an RBI and scored twice.
TJ Cross, McPherson, Mason DeLaune and Crockett Srp all pitched in the game and none of them gave up more than 2 hits. McPherson struck out 4 and Srp didn’t give up a hit or a walk.
