BOERNE— The Alamo Letter Society is making final preparations for its Travis “Victory or Death” letter dedication ceremony, to be held at noon on April 21. This year, Feb. 24 marked the 190th year since Col. William Travis penned the famous plea for help from within The Alamo. The names of those who make a donation of $190 or more will be entered in a drawing, to be held at the April 21 dedication ceremony, to receive a framed replica of the Travis Letter. Above, Rusty Busby, Kendall County Alamo Letter Society representative, left, is joined by Christina Bergmann, Kendall County Commissioners Court Judge Shane Stolarczyk, historian Bryden Moon, and Precinct 3 County Commissioner Richard Chapman.
