LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT FEBRUARY 18

7:45 a.m., on Greyhound Lane – A caller reported a bomb threat received at the school. No students were on the location, only staff. All traffic was diverted. K9 units searched the premises. No suspicious items were found.

10:22 a.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported men who appeared to be in a verbal altercation and were getting very heated.

1:49 p.m., 200 block of Cimarron – A caller wanted to file a report for an incident that occurred the previous evening involving someone trespassing.

1:57 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a customer in the bathroom smoking pot.

FEBRUARY 19

5:20 a.m., 100 block of Saddle Club – A caller reported receiving a scam message that he won something but needed to provide them with $2,000 worth of gift cards.

11:24 a.m., 100 block of Industrial Drive – A caller reported someone was going door to door along their road, stopping and selling their services.

3:25 p.m., 300 block of River Road – A caller reported she received a call and was told she would be located and then threatened with gun violence.

6:38 p.m., 700 block of Johns Road – A caller reported her former boyfriend was following her from her home to her job.

FEBRUARY 20

9:27 a.m., 100 block of Whisper Way – A caller reported a woman was yelling at him while he was trying to get materials on his property.

10:44 a.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported receiving a lot of charges on his bank card. He was concerned about a skimmer being used in the area.

1:50 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male in a white van who showed a knife to the caller, and attempted to run over the caller. The caller said he and the man had an altercation, and the male threatened to kill him.

3:09 p.m., 100 block of Enterprise – A manager reported an unruly customer who was unhappy with the work done in his vehicle.

FEBRUARY 21

10:48 a.m., 500 block of River Road – A caller requested assistance after her husband’s ring slid off his finger and into the drain.

12:50 p.m., 500 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller was concerned about a male who was on the side of the road with a sign.

4:48 p.m., 100 block of Stablewood – A caller said her wedding ring had been stolen the previous day, following a cleaning company’s visit.

FEBRUARY 22

12:03 a.m., 100 block of Bentwood – A caller reported five young adults fighting in his front yard. The caller said some of the individuals already departed the location. Law enforcement came to the location to handle the situation.

12:32 a.m., 100 block of Oak Haven – A caller reported a male who appeared to be in distress. Another caller reported the male acting oddly. Law enforcement came to the location to provide the male assistance.

5:59 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported her phone was stolen from the stock show and was pining at a different location.

6:58 p.m., 36000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported the smell of weed and pot smoke coming from the second floor of the building.

FEBRUARY 23

7:13 a.m., on Cascade Caverns – A caller reported a co-worker was followed to work by an unknown male.

11:09 a.m., 100 block of Vail – A caller came in to file a report about falsifying documents.

1:07 p.m., 600 block of Siefert Pond – A caller reported breakers were stolen from a construction site.

1:10 p.m., 600 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a resident hit another resident.

5:16 p.m., 600 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported his neighbor received a delivery from Walmart and that the delivery guy came back to the location with his face covered.

FEBRUARY 24

6:22 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported several cement trucks were blocking traffic and preventing buses from coming through for morning student transportation.

10:42 a.m., 34000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported a male with a hatchet walking down the side of the interstate, making threatening gestures.

2:33 p.m., 100 block of City Park – A caller reported a male taking pictures of a woman and child from his vehicle.

3:38 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller said his former employer had possession of the caller’s tools and was not returning his property.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FEBRUARY 18

12:05 a.m., on Whitworth Road/ Skyview Drive – A caller reported her ex-husband drove recklessly and almost hit her while both were driving. The caller said she didn’t see her ex-husband driving the vehicle, but it was his company vehicle.

6:10 a.m., 10 block of Pankratz Road – Two horses and a pony crossed the road, trying to get a joke written about them.

1:48 p.m., 100 block of Amber Drive – A caller was concerned about a suspicious person in the parking lot. The caller provided dispatch with the license plate information for the vehicle.

5:01 p.m., 100 block of July Lane – A caller reported a loose dog in the area that was going after people’s pets.

FEBRUARY 19

2:12 a.m., 200 block of Highway 27 – A caller reported receiving five calls from different bail bonds businesses, offering the caller the opportunity to assist her with a family member who was in jail. The caller informed dispatch they were fraudulent and attempting to have the caller pay $950.

10:14 a.m., 200 block of S. FM 3351 – A caller reported a goat near the road, looking for a ride to have brunch.

12:55 p.m., 100 block of Milagro – A caller reported four guns and silver were stolen from his safe. The caller said he suspected it was his ex-wife who stole the materials.

FEBRUARY 20

1:33 a.m., mile marker 524, W. I-10 – A caller reported two motorists involved in a vehicle collision. A female driver she couldn’t turn the wheel of the vehicle. An ambulance was called to provide medical assistance.

4:35 a.m., on Scenic Loop Road – A caller reported a vehicle parked at the location, intentionally far away from security cameras 7:51 a.m., 600 block of Esperanza Road – A caller reported the smell of gas on the bottom floor of their location. The building was evacuated while Boerne F.D. investigated the situation.

9:41 a.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller reported receiving a call from someone requesting she give money to a FedEx driver via Bitcoin.

1:03 p.m., 5100 block of Ranger Creek Road – A caller reported she received notification from the owner that someone vandalized the fence at the location.

FEBRUARY 21

9:09 a.m., on Laurens Lane – A caller requested assistance with a trapped skunk at the location.

11:56 a.m., 100 block of Buntline Drive – A caller reported he was bitten by a dog, the bite breaking his skin.

3:14 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee wanted to provide information regarding a vehicle involved in a storage unit break-in 4:05 p.m., 100 block of Southfield – A caller reported her phone was stolen.

FEBRUARY 22

11:44 a.m., 100 block of Geronimo Trail – A caller requested Animal Control come to the location to assist with dogs on his property.

8:09 p.m., Kendall Jackson – A caller reported her husband had consumed alcoholic beverages and was then getting in his vehicle to drive to another location.

9:17 p.m., mile marker 542, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle driving fast and trying to cut off the caller.

10:41 p.m., 100 block of Sunrise Drive – A caller reported hearing a dog barking outside in the cold weather. The caller later called back and said the dog’s bark was getting hoarse.

FEBRUARY 23

10:33 a.m., 5100 block of Ranger Creek – A caller asked for a deputy at the location following an incident with vandalism at his location.

12:08 p.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported her credit card was used for an unauthorized purpose and charged over $400.

5:31 p.m., Silver Hills/FM 3351 – A small grass fire was reported at a residence. Bergheim and Boerne F.D.s were called to the location.

7:42 p.m., 100 block of Valley – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of the road that had been driving slowly around the neighborhood.
