BOERNE — Suanne Pyle is the new Kendall County Democratic Party Chair, according to a press release.
The Kendall County Democratic Party announced Pyle’s selection effective March 4. She formerly served as the party’s treasurer.
“I am excited for the challenge of being Kendall County Chair and building on the excellence of former Chairs Laura Bray and Kevin Henning,” Pyle said. “We have an excellent team to work with as we work on educating and increasing voting among Kendall County Democrats.”
Previous Chair Laura Bray resigned after serving for more than five years.
“It has been my honor and privilege to serve as Chair,” Bray said. “I thank all our great volunteers for their hard work and dedication. Having the opportunity to serve as a delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention was a ‘bucket- list’ item and another huge honor.
“Suanne brings skill, knowledge and determination to the position and will be an outstanding leader,” Bray added.
According to its website, the county Democratic Party is “an active, growing team committed to building a more inclusive community.”
“We’re fighting for healthcare for all, public education, the environment, voting rights, and more,” Bray said.
