The San Antonio Missions recently hosted a baseball clinic with more than 100 little league players from Comfort, Ingram and Kerrville at the Ingram Little League fields. Players and coaches from the Missions were on hand for the event held this past Monday.
The Ingram fields were destroyed by last year’s devastating Hill Country floods, but it has since been rebuilt with funds raised by Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball, along with the Missions.
The Missions also donated $1,750 to the Comfort, Ingram and Kerrville Little League organizations. “The clinic served as another way of showcasing the Missions’ continued commitment towards rebuilding the Hill Country by empowering the area’s youth through the game of baseball,” said Brian Yancelson, Missions Public Relations and Broadcasting Manager.
