Comfort High announced that Jennifer Lee will serve as the school’s new volleyball coach. Lee replaces Norma Viera who left the position after eight years as the head coach. Viera has taken an assistant coaching job with Medina Valley.
Lee has taught and coached at seven different schools in three states over the last 20 years. Most recently, she was the head volleyball, cheer and tennis coach at 5A Kempner High School in Sugar Land where she taught physical education and was the campus athletic coordinator.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Lee, who graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Indiana University. She is expected to be on campus this coming week.
