Boerne High graduate Camden Johnson recently signed a contract with the Kansas City Royals after the Royals took him in the recent Major League Baseball draft.
Johnson just wrapped up a national championship with the University of Oklahoma baseball program and was selected with the 269th pick in the ninth round by the Royals. He was drafted last week and signed over the weekend.
Another Boerne High graduate, Rashawn Galloway, was drafted by the Houston Astros and was hoping to sign this week. Galloway graduated from Texas State University and was selected by the Astros in Round 16 with the 481st pick.
