Boerne High hosted Providence in a non-district volleyball match Tuesday at Greyhound Gym and swept the Provets. The Lady Hounds won 25-14, 25-11, 25-17 and improved to 12-3 overall. The Boerne girls close out tournament season and are entered in the Wildcat Classic Tournament in Elgin this weekend.
At this weekend’s tourney, Boerne opened with Pasadena Memorial, Lexington and Carter-Riverside on the first day.
Against Providence, Ava Seamans led the team in kills with nine, Bella Pettet added eight kills and Riley Caldwell chipped in with six kills.
Kennedy Travis served up six aces for the Hounds team that totaled 18 aces in the match. Layla Shanley had a block, Kiley Coffland came up with 10 digs and Lauren Magnus tallied 17 assists.
